Dewey is looking for his forever home! This handsome fella is a 5 year old mix… possibly lab/shepherd/ husky/collie, who knows! Whatever he is, he is adorable and one of the sweetest dogs we’ve met. Dewey has spent the last few weeks settling in at his foster home and is now ready to find his forever family.

Dewey LOVES other dogs and wants to say hi to everyone he sees. While he does bark at some dogs on walks it is because he wants to go see everyone and make friends. He settles down quickly if you just keep walking, talk to him and offer treats. He is very in tune with his people, so if you have a calm energy, he will be more calm. Dewey goes to daycare, the dog park, and enjoys many long walks each day. He would be an awesome addition to any family looking for a big cuddle bug and activity buddy. Dewey is great about hanging out around the house while his foster mom works from home and he looks forward to walking time throughout the day.

Dewey has a very cuddly, social personality and enjoys being with his people. He will cuddle on the couch with you for hours and loves to give hugs and kisses. He would be amazing in a home with kids with proper supervision and management. Dewey has energy and needs his daily walks and likes to hike, but he is also content to lay around with you on a low-key day after a walk.

• Home visits are required prior to being considered for adoption.

• Completed application and approved home visit do NOT guarantee adoption

• We receive many more applications than we do dogs, so some people will be disappointed. We may receive over 100 inquiries for a single, highly desirable dog!

• We do not ship our dogs

• There is a $20 application fee required to submit an application to adopt one of our rescued dogs.
