Astra is ready for her furever home!

This cutie has spent the last couple weeks getting settled in with her foster, building confidence, and learning how to ‘dog’ and now it’s time for her to find her furever family.

Astra is the cutest 6 months old pup. We got her DNA back and boy were we surprised. She is a fun-sized mutt and wicked smart. Her recall Is already so good, she knows sit, has been working on impulse control and crate training… She has learnt so much thanks to her amazing foster mom!

She is loving having two big doggies to play with and show her the ropes. They have helped her a lot to gain more confidence. Astra will do best in a home with another medium-large confident doggie playmate. She is really smart and will need an adopter committed to continuing training and challenging her mentally.

Astra is working through some leash reactivity and excitability seeing new friends on leash. She is very food motivated so with continued training she will get better and better.

Astra is still a young puppy, so as a reminder of what comes with this territory…
Nipping, jumping, accidents, chewing, needed emphasis on training and socializing, and much more are normal and expected. Please do not apply if you are not able to commit to fully commit to a puppy. They are so much fun, but let’s be honest, they are a TON of work and a 10+ year commitment not to be taken lightly.

Astra is being fostered in San Deigo, CA, but can be adopted anywhere as long as you can drive to meet/ pick her up in SoCal. We don’t ship any of our dogs
