We rescued Dash 6 weeks ago from SEAACA. He was in very rough shape.
He had severe damage to his eye and our vets quickly determined the eye had no function and Dash was in serious pain. The eye was removed and then we went on to address his other medical issues.
He had a double perineal hernia. It was chronic, meaning he was suffering for years most likely. The surgery took 3 hours and was very delicate. We were thankful our incredible vet was able to get this tough job done well.
Thankfully he has bounced back and is now in need of a foster home! He is a happy dude who loves his walks and toys. If you’re able to be part of Dash’s story and foster him till he finds his furever home (or are interested in adopting) please complete an application on our website!
