Please meet Liam who made his way all the way from Mexico to live the good life here in America! Liam is approx 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. He is a distemper survivor which means while living on the streets he survived the deadly distemper disease. He has a slight bob of his head from this but it doesn't affect his day to day living. Liam is a strong boy who will need an owner who will be able to control him on walks as he is strong and can be reactive to people and other dogs while walking. His foster is also working with him on his barking. He will bark uncontrollably at other people and dogs and is working on being able to be re-directed to other things.Liam is house trained and has not had an accident in his foster home and sleeps through the night without any issues. He is enjoys his walks and is currently getting 3+ miles a day! He would make a great companion for someone who loves to hike and go on adventures!Liam loves people and enjoys being as close to his foster family as he can. He is still learning how to socialize with other dogs and at this time does not seem to be dog friendly. Liam needs to be in a home without other dogs until his forever family can work on training. There is no doubt that Liam will make an excellent companion for the right person or family! If you are active, have the patience to give Liam the time and training he needs, and don't have other animals in your family Liam could be the one for you!If you are interested in Liam, please fill out our adoption application
