Meet Odin, a super handsome golden boy who came to us from Turkey. His former owner didn’t have time for him, so left him at a boarding facility day and night. Realizing that wasn’t fair to a young pup, he was brought to our amazing rescuer in Turkey. Odin is a little over a year old and the best puppy ever!

Odin LOVES meeting people and dogs. He does get super happy and animated when meeting new people, and will jump up on them for hugs. He gets along with all dogs, and is very playful. He would do best with another playful dog in his forever home.

Odin is very playful and loves his toys! One of his favorite things is chasing his ball. He also likes to run and play with his foster sibling another Golden Retriever. He has moderately high energy level, and would love to go on adventures and hikes with his forever family.

He does well on his leash and enjoys his walks. He is also potty trained and has not had any accidents while in foster care. He does well during the night sleeping on the a doggie bed on the floor next to his foster parents bed, but would also love sleeping in bed with his humans if given the option.

Being a puppy he will need some supervision and training but he is smart and a quick learner. He is a tall boy and has been caught counter surfing when there are yummy smells on the counter, so his forever family should be prepared to work with him on that. 

When Odin gets excited he does put his open mouth on your hands/arms for attention. He is easily re-directed to something appropriate. 

We are looking for a family that wants an affectionate happy puppy and will treat Odin as part of the family. He will need love, attention and some training in order to thrive.
