Please meet Wero..the senior dog who looks like a young puppy!  Wero is approximately 13 years old and came to us from East Valley Animal Shelter where he was severely matted, depressed and most likely dumped by his owners.  He was in very bad shape!

Upon examination by our vet, it seems that Wero has a collapsed trachea which results in a honking cough.  Wero is on a special compounded medication to help widen his trachea and airway and hopefully his cough will slowly diminish.  His forever family should understand there is an added monthly cost for Wero's medication for his collapsed trachea.

Wero is settled into his foster home and is an absolute joy!  He wants to be by your side all the time and will follow his foster mom from room to room.  When she sits down or lays down he has to be by her side touching her.  Wero has so much spunk for his age and we know he will be an excellent addition to any family for hopefully many many more years to come!
