Please meet Frida, who came to us from our rescue partners in Puerto Vallarta!  Frida was found in a small town with her 7 puppies begging for food and trying to survive.  The wonderful volunteers took her back to the rescue shelter to safety but unfortunately 5 of her 7 puppies didn't survive.  Frida made her freedom flight a couple weeks ago and is ready to find a family of her own.

Frida is approx 40 pounds and looks like a very petite lab mix.  Frida does well with other dogs and people but can sometimes be unsure and insecure around kids.  We think this is because she was taunted and treated poorly by children while living on the streets.  For this reason, we will be looking for a home with no children for Frida.  Over time, it is possible that she builds trust around kids...but for now a kid-free home will be best for Frida!

If you are interested in making Frida a member of your family, please fill out an adoption application here: Adoption Application

Please note: Frida is being fostered in West Hills, CA
Her adoption fee is $500 USD.
