Please meet Jackson!  A sweet senior that was surrendered to our rescue when his owner was no longer able to care for him.  Jackson is approx 11 years old and weighs just about 40 pounds.  His foster mom says Jackson is an incredibly good natured dog that loves to be with his people and his foster fur-siblings!  He is being fostered with 2 other dogs and gets along with them great!  While this is not a requirement, we would love Jackson to have another fur-friend in his forever home!

Jackson loves his daily walks and gets so excited when his foster mom pulls out the leash!  Sometimes Jackson can be overly excited on walks and wants to pull to smell all the exciting smells.  For this reason, Jackson has been walking with a no-pull harness which seems to be helping him.  His forever family should be dedicated to helping him with his leash manners.  Again, Jackson LOVES to be around his people and would be a great companion for someone home a good amount of time.  Jackson has impeccable house manners and has not been destructive at all.  He also has not had any accidents in his foster home. He will however need a reminder of the proper place to go potty in his forever home.

Jackson loves to play with his toys, snuggle on the couch and will even let out a "purr" sound when you stop petting his head.    Jacksons forever family should be committed to giving him the time, attention and love he needs!  In return, you will have a loyal companion who just wants to snuggle and go on walks!

If you are interested in making Jackson a part of your family, please fill out an adoption application here: Adoption Application

Please note: Hudson is being fostered in Santa Ynez Valley which is in Santa Barbara County.
Hudson’s adoption fee is $300.
