I’m Lucy, a five month old Dalmation puppy. True to my breed, I’m a very active and playful dog. In my furever home, I will need another playful, patient dog and a backyard to romp in, and a lot of exercise daily.  When I’m ready to sleep, I will insist on sleeping in your bed with you. I refuse to sleep unless I’m tucked in with you!  I love getting under the covers and cuddling with my humans.  So, no, I’m not crate trained. I don’t like being left alone for long, and I might chew on something inappropriate – hey I’m a puppy!. I’ll need more training in this area.

I’m currently being fostered in San Diego by a wonderful, active young couple, who also have a dog.  I love going to the beach, playing with any dog I meet.  I need a lot of exercise, daily walks and playtime for starters.  Like most Dalmations, I am antsy until I’ve had enough exercise, then I’ll settle in.  A family with experience with my breed is preferred.

I’m not a picky eater, and I’m not as food driven as most dogs.  I have no food or toy related behavior problems.  I am waiting for my appointment to get spayed, but I’ve finished my puppy vaccinations.   I love all dogs and need a furry sibling to play with in my furever home.  I love every human and dog I meet. – kids too! I’ve never met a cat.  I love car rides and adventures.  Be prepared for the crowds taking pictures of me when we go to public places – I’m so cute I draw a lot of attention!
