Adopt Marlie

If you’re looking for a super loving, kind, and playful companion, then Marlie is your girl!  Marlie is a 1 ½ year old labradoodle who came into rescue when her previous family realized she needed more exercise and attention than they could give her.  She is not hypoallergenic and does shed.  This young lady knows her basic commands, and is eager to please. She is super smart, picks up commands and tricks quickly, and catches on to both human and doggie cues well. She’s fully housebroken, and hasn’t had any accidents at her foster home. She has a good amount of energy, but with enough daily exercise and play she also knows how to chill and relax with you.

Marlie would be best in an active household where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime.  This includes long daily walks (or multiple walks) and play with both other doggie friends and her humans.  She loves her toys, and hasn’t had any destructive behaviors with her human’s belongings. She’s had experience playing with human kid friends, and loved all the attention she got from them. She loves playing with her foster doggie brother, but would also be ok as a solo dog as long as she gets lots of socialization opportunities with other dogs.

Marlie loves head and back rubs, sitting at your feet, and is gentle taking treats. She’s great in the car, and is learning how to be the best girl on-leash with the help of an easy-walk harness. Marlie’s forever family should plan on enrolling her in a training class to help her reach her potential as a wonderful companion. Marlie will enhance any family she joins, and spreads love wherever she goes.
