Meet Nash!  Nash is an adorable 10-11 month old cocker spaniel who made his journey all the way from Turkey!  This cutie is as sweet as can be and is now ready to find his forever home.

Nash has been a great house guest in his foster home.  He chews/plays with his own toys for the most part, and he’s been doing well with potty training.  Of course, with a new change, he will need some additional reinforcement and direction until he gets on a schedule and learns where he is supposed to go potty, but he’s extremely smart!  He still has puppy energy and might mistake something for a toy, and though he is easily redirected, his forever family should make sure that there’s nothing at doggie level that they wouldn’t want to be chewed!  Nash is very food and toy motivated and would do well and greatly benefit from going to training classes with his forever family.

Nash has loved everyone he’s met.  He is definitely a people dog, and though he coexists well, so far hasn’t cared much for other dogs.  He enjoys being the center of attention and getting all the love.  He’s the biggest cuddle bug and super velcro.  He follows his foster family all around the house and wants to be with you all the time.  Nash is getting more comfortable with being left alone but will need some more work in his forever home.  Because he is so velcro he doesn’t love when his people leave, but with a nice long walk and a bone, he’s been getting better and better!

Nash is a medium-high energy guy who needs lots of exercise.  He loves his walks and does great on leash when walking with a harness.  He is currently getting a few long walks a day, and it’s perfect for him.  When he gets home from a nice long walk he will just follow you around, and cuddle with you on the couch till he feels like playing with his toys, or walking again!  He would be an awesome hiking and adventure buddy.  He’s amazing in the car, and up for any outing.

Because Nash doesn’t have experience with young kids, he will not be placed in a home with children under 6 years old.

Nash is a very special boy who is looking forward to finding his special family!  If you think Nash sounds like a good fit for you, and you have what he’s looking for in his forever home, please fill out our adoption application here: Adoption Application

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high cost of international travel and vet care Nash’s adoption fee is $800
He is being fostered in Torrance CA.
