Meet Peyton, a beautiful 1-year-old female golden retriever that made her way all the way from Turkey to find her amazing forever home.  Could that home be with you?

Peyton is now in the US and is settling in wonderfully in her foster home.  She is a sweet girl who enjoys cuddling on the bed with her humans, playing with toys, and being outside.  She adores everyone she meets, young and old, and is pretty gentle when meeting new people.  Peyton is working on her house manners and sometimes will be destructive and chew on things that are not appropriate.  It is important for her forever family to understand she will need help with learning what is appropriate to chew on and what is not.  Peyton hasn’t had any potty accidents while in foster care.  She is very smart and would benefit from some basic training classes with her forever family.

Peyton is great on leash and loves her walks.  Her foster family walks her approximately 2 miles a day.  She really loves to play with her doggy foster brothers and would love a doggy sibling to wrestle with in her forever home.  We will be requiring another playful dog in Peyton's forever home.  She would also love a home with a secure yard as she loves to run, and a family that is home most of the time as she doesn't like to be alone much, she is a Velcro dog and wants to be with her people as much as possible.

If Peyton sounds like she could be THE one for you, please fill out our adoption application here: Adoption Application

NOTE: Due to the high cost of transportation from overseas, Peyton's adoption fee is $1,000 and she is being fostered in Calabasas, CA.
