Meet Sady (aka Zoey), a 6 month old little girl saved from the streets of Mexico.  We think this happy Mexico Mystery Mutt is a Beagle or Jack Russell mix.  She weighs only 12 pounds now and will likely only be about 20 lbs or so as an adult dog.  She has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped and she's ready for her "furever" home!

Like most puppies, Sady is full of energy one minute and asleep on your bed the next.  She is a cuddle bug!  her favorite game is fetch!  She has no resource guarding with food or toys, but she loves to steal the toys of any other doggos in the house!  She loves all toys but will shred any "stuffy".  Her favorite toys are squeaky toys and non-shedding balls, like a Chuck-It ball.

She will ride in the car quietly, but isn't really a fan of car rides yet.

She has been fostered with another dog her size and they play constantly.  She has met other big dogs and seems a little intimidated by them, so gentle introductions will be necessary. She loves to play in the yard but would probably be okay in and apartment or condo as long as she got regular walks and play time.

Sady is potty trained and no longer needs to be crated.  Of course, any dog in a new home will need to be taught where the appropriate place to do her business is.

Tiny Sady is often afraid of new people and dogs.  She sometimes will growls a little because of her lack of confidence and trust.  With some training and proper introductions to new people and dogs, she should overcome this.  Once she's comfortable with them, then she is a sweetheart who will give you PLENTY of kisses. A home without young children would be best.

As a baby, Sady needs someone who will be patient with her. She has mild separation anxiety, and would prefer another small dog in the home to keep her company, or a human who is home often. She will need further training on leash walking, as she can bark at other dogs while on leash.

If you are interested in making Sady a part of your family, please fill out an adoption application here: Adoption Application

Please note: Sady is being fostered in San Diego, CA and her adoption fee is $500.
