Sevgi is a 7-9 month old Terrier Hound mix dog, weighing 42 pounds. She is tall and slim right now but might grow a little bit more. She is a wonderful, sweet young lady who loves everybody that she meets. This well socialized dog is absolutely wonderful with new people and dogs, all sizes. he is a submissive female and enjoys being around dogs.
In her foster home, she uses a doggie door and is housebroken. She is a young, very puppy, active dog and would love an active home who can take her running, hiking, dog parks etc.
Sevgi is a very affectionate girl, she loves giving kisses and loves to cuddle with her people. She is extremely friendly and her tail doesn't stop wagging. She is not destructive but still acts like a puppy, you might see her carrying around your socks, shoes etc and might start chewing them a tiny little bit. She loves playing with toys so lots of toys might keep her busy. She loves laying on the couch and bed and enjoys watching TV like she knows what's going on.
Sevgi is an athletic dog, she can easily jump over 4/5 feet of gate/fence. In her future home she needs a min 7 ft fence and very secure yard. She doesn't mind getting a bath but is afraid of the blow dryer and she tries to run away from it. When she first arrived in the USA a few weeks ago, her hair was still short (not cut but short) and started to grow a little longer. We are not sure if she will end up being a long hair dog...time will show once she is fully grown.
She is good at getting in the car and has been a good passenger during the ride.
If you think Sevgi could be a good fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application here: Adoption Application and one of our representatives will be in touch with you.
