Hello everyone, my name is Trevor and I’m an approximately 3 year old terrier mix.  I’ve made the long journey from Turkey to the US looking for my forever home!  Even after being found as a stray and going through SO much change, I settled in very quickly at my foster home.  My foster parents say I the sweetest cuddle bug!  My favorite things to do are to take trail walks with my foster family, wrestle with my foster doggie brother, play tug with my humans, and take a nap after a nice walk.

I am enjoying the good life here in the US.  I love to go on daily walks and I do a little tail wagging happy dance when my foster mom gets the leash.  With gentle guidance I walk beautifully on leash. Back at home I have fun exploring and keeping tabs on all the critters in the yard.  After a day of fun I like snuggling in my bed with my treats and toys and calling it a night.

I like meeting new people and getting attention.  My foster parents say I am the sweetest boy.  I love other dogs, too, but can be a bit exuberant and bark when meeting new doggie friends.  I am easy to re-direct, though, and learn quickly to respect and understand my friends.  My foster family has 3 dogs and I love having my friends around, but I need more practice socializing in small groups before going to a dog park.  I would do best with a full time doggie sibling in my forever home.

My foster parents tell me that I’m really smart and am a fast learner.  I do have some things to learn, like not to put my paws up on the counter even though it’s really tempting.  The good news is I am very responsive to verbal correction.  My future family should be prepared to take me to a training class because I am eager to please and I love yummy treats, too.

I am doing pretty well with potty training, but will need a refresher when I get to my new home.  I would do best in a calmer household where I can get my daily exercise, doggie play time, and belly rubs from my humans.  If you think I could be a good fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application here: Adoption Application and one of our representatives will be in touch with you.

Please note: Trevor is being fostered in Yorba Linda.
NOTE: due to the high costs of international transportation, Trevor’s adoption donation is $500
