Hi!  I’m Lacey, a one year old Irish Terrier female puppy from the streets of Mexico.  I’ve been fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped, and I’m ready to find my furever home.
My foster Mom says I am the most loving dog she has ever had the pleasure of knowing.  Morning snuggles are the best!  I am trying to be good, but I’m just a puppy from the streets of Mexico.  I could use training.  I don’t know all the rules yet!

I don’t guard my  food or toys. I love food and can’t get enough – I will counter surf if I get the chance.  Like most puppies, I enjoy destroying my toys.  I especially like a good game of rope pulling.
I’m learning to walk on leash.  I’m getting better, but I still pull.  I am a high energy dog, so my foster Mom walks me twice a day for an hour.  Then I can settle down and nap. They tell me a tired dog is a good dog!

I’m doing much better with potty training, but I’m still learning.  My foster doesn’t allow me on the furniture, but will sleep in her bed if I can.
I’m friendly with adult dogs, puppies, kids, and adults.  I LOVE EVERYONE!  Though I will chase a cat, I play beautifully with my foster’s four year old dog and two 8-week old puppies.  I don’t know my own strength and I can play roughly on my long legs, so smaller children aren’t recommended for me
I’m not crate trained and I haven’t been left alone.  My foster Mom thinks if I were left alone, I’d rest quietly until I got bored…then I’d destroy stuff!  I like car rides, but I don’t know why I  should have to stay in the back seat. LOL.  A toy to chew on or something to keep me busy while in the car is appreciated.

I must have a yard  in my furever home – I love the yard – the bigger the better.  And hopefully my new family won’t mind a little digging…after all I am a terrier!  Finally, I must have at least one  other dog in my new home because my favorite activity  is playing with other dogs!
