When an experienced foster mom says a dog is ‘perfect’, we know that is a huge endorsement. We also know it’s a great way to describe Lady (aka Honey), a 3 year old golden girl who came to us from Turkey. It’s clear she had a family and was cared for at least when she was a puppy, but ultimately ended up abandoned at a private shelter where our rescuer found her and changed her life. 

Lady is a moderate energy, gentle girl who loves everyone. She craves human attention and also loves playing with other dogs. She enjoys her walks and does beautifully on leash. She has learned the joy of toys and definitely needs a big toy basket at her forever home. She plays fetch and is so happy sunning herself in the yard. 

She would prefer to cuddle with her humans on the couch and sleep in bed with them, too. Lady is absolutely a velcro girl and bonds with her people. She follows her foster mom around the house and adores  affection. Lady has been a wonderful houseguest…hasn’t had any potty accidents and has left her foster’s belongings intact. 

In typical golden fashion, Lady loves food and is treat motivated. She is good in the car and loves going on adventures. She’s an all around wonderful girl.
