Scotty and Toby came into rescue after a Good Samaritan observed them being dumped. Due diligence was done, and when no owner came forward they officially joined our rescue. We estimate they are at most a year old…most likely 10-11 months, and weigh around 55 lbs each. We don’t know if they are related, but might be. They get along beautifully, and complement each other. Their foster mom has spent time with each boy separately, taken them on adventures and walks separately, and they have done very well. Ideally we would like to place them as a pair.
Scotty and Toby’s foster mom describes them as having pure golden personalities. They are a little velcro, very affectionate, love playing, enjoy being brushed, and get along great with other dogs. They also walk well on leash, too. They have been working on crate training, and are both doing great. They are young boys, eager to please, and smart.
Both boys are cuddly and put their heads in your lap on the couch. Toby’s specialty is ‘hugging’ his person in a gentle way. Both are food driven and love chew toys. These boys are incredibly sweet and deserve a loving forever family. Because they are similar in age, if they are adopted together their humans need to commit to do things with them together and separately so they grow up as confident best buds. They will be neutered prior to adoption.
