Meet Bruno!
This handsome boy is Bruno, a 2 year old Golden Retriever with a heart full of love and a zest for life. He’s ready to find the forever family he’s been waiting for! Bruno came into rescue after his previous family made the decision to surrender him when they felt they could not protect him from their male German Shepard bullying him.
Since joining rescue, Bruno has flourished in foster care and is showing everyone what a good boy he is. Bruno is an all-around great dog. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though he may be cautious when meeting large male dogs due to his past experiences. He currently lives with two female dogs in his foster home and absolutely loves playing with them.
He’s a happy, social boy who enjoys both canine companionship and plenty of human attention. Bruno loves his daily walks and does well on leash. While he can occasionally get excited and pull, he responds very well to direction and is eager to please. Like many young Goldens, he has a playful spirit and enjoys games of fetch, carrying around toys and being involved in whatever his people are doing. He’s a great cuddle bug and would happily spend his evenings curled up next to you or on top of you on the couch. Bruno thrives on affection and forms strong bonds with his people.
He’s sweet, loving and always ready to make a new friend.His foster family reports that Bruno is a very good boy, but like many young dogs, he may attempt a little counter surfing if something tempting is left within reach!
Bruno enjoys having a canine companion, we feel he would do best in a home with another playful female dog and an active family that can continue providing him with the exercise, companionship and love he deserves. Bruno is the complete package: happy, affectionate, playful and eager to be part of a family. He’s ready to become someone’s best friend and loyal companion forever this time.
Bruno is scheduled to be neutered on June 5 and will be available for adoption once he has fully recovered from surgery. We can’t wait for this special boy to find the forever home he deserves!
