Keira and Izzy (we’re guessing mom and daughter) were found together running around in the streets of Rialto when a Good Samaritan spotted them. Thankfully she was able to get them in her car and posted everywhere looking for help. One of our amazing volunteers took them in while we completed our due diligence. Keira and Izzy get along beautifully, and ideally we’d like to place them together. If we do split them up, they will each need another dog in the home. 

KEIRA

Keira aka Mama is the most beautiful approximately 2-year-old Golden Retriever and is as sweet as they come! She weighs 69 lbs. She has never met a stranger and absolutely loves people of all ages. Whether she’s spending time with kids, cuddling up with adults, or greeting new friends with a happy tail wag, her gentle and loving personality shines through. She will gladly sit and give you her paw for a shake. 

Her favorite things in the world? Squeaky toys, tasty treats, and long walks! She’ll happily carry her favorite toy around the house, eagerly show off her excitement for a snack, and is always ready to head out for an adventure by your side.

She’s affectionate, loyal, and full of love to give. If you’re looking for a faithful companion who will brighten every day with her joyful spirit and sweet nature, she could be the perfect addition to your family.

Keira’s future family should have another dog with a calm demeanor, be willing to work on recall training with her, and one that is home more often than not. She loves to be with her people and wants to sleep in bed with you every night. 

IZZY

At approximately 10 months old, this beautiful Golden Retriever mix is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, once she feels safe, her sweet personality truly shines. She’s been glued to Keira’s side her whole life and is slowly building confidence to be her own big girl dog! Izzy weighs 40 lbs.

She absolutely adores kids and has a calm, loving nature that makes her a wonderful companion for a family. Her favorite things include chewy treats, squeaky toys, and spending time with the people she loves.

Because she’s still building her confidence, she’d do best in a home with a friendly, confident, and playful dog who can show her the ropes and help her continue to blossom. Having a canine buddy gives her reassurance and encourages her fun, playful side to come out.

With a little patience, lots of love, and a few squeaky toys, this precious girl will reward you with unwavering loyalty and endless affection. She’s looking for a family who will help her grow into the confident, happy dog she’s meant to be.

Izzy loves to cuddle in bed with her foster pawrents, takes treats nicely, and is working on basic manners. Because she is a little timid, training should be implemented right away. She loves walks and does nicely on a leash.
