This absolutely stunning boy is Shilo, a 1-1 1/2 year old golden boy who will steal your heart instantly. It’s hard to believe he was a stray who hung out at a Mexican restaurant begging for handouts for a couple months.  We don’t know how he found himself there, but fortunately he was in pretty good shape and doesn’t seem to have any trauma from being on the streets.

Shilo is super sweet, craves attention, loves toys, and is an expert cuddler. He gets along great with other dogs and is on the submissive side. He absolutely loves playing with all dogs, but especially with small/mid sized dogs. We want him to have a doggie playmate/companion in his forever home.

For a young dog Shilo is pretty calm and has moderate energy, but does get zoomies and loves exploring the yard. He enjoys sniffing on his walks, but isn’t a long distance walker or hiker…yet. Shilo needs a big selection of toys, both plush and appropriate chew toys. He does need to be supervised as he will chew on things like a sandal and a pillow. Fortunately he is easily re-directed and food motivated.

Shilo bonds strongly to his people, and is happy to hang out while you’re working from home or cuddle with you while watching TV. He would benefit by some basic training, and is eager to please. Shilo’s new family will get an incredibly sweet, lovable, and gorgeous companion.
