Introducing Wednesday!
Wednesday is the kind of dog who loves deeply and commits fully, especially to being as close to her people as physically possible. Personal space? She’s unfamiliar with the concept and sees no reason to start learning now.
Wednesday is a petite 34 pound Cocker Spaniel mix. She is timid but warms up with time and high value foods. She and her daughter were rescued from the Carson shelter after being surrendered by their owner. The shelter environment was overwhelming for her at first, but once we saw how sweet and gentle she was in the play yard, we knew she was special.
Now safe in foster care, Wednesday’s personality continues to shine more every day. She is affectionate, sensitive, and happiest when she’s curled up beside you, leaning against you, or ideally being carried around like a baby. Physical touch is absolutely her love language.
Wednesday also enjoys snacks, cozy naps, supervising DoorDash deliveries, and making sure her humans never have to walk from one room to another alone.
She will thrive with structure, routine, and clear boundaries, which will help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. As she settles in, her playful and loving personality keeps blossoming.
Wednesday can live with or without another dog, but her heart belongs to her people. She’s looking for a home that wants a loyal little shadow, an expert cuddler, and a dog who will love you with her whole heart.
