This precious girl is named Autumn because she is the color of the fall with beautiful red and gold hues.  However, her foster mum calls her "Wiggle-butt" as she wags her tail and wiggles constantly!  Autumn was dumped at a shelter so she has been decompressing in her foster home. The shelter listed her as 2 years old, but she is more likely closer to 1 - 1 1/2 years old. 

Autumn lives harmoniously with two large dogs who are confident, but she does not yet know how to play. She is extremely submissive to dogs and to people - she will hit the floor any time she is unsure of something. However, she absolutely loves being cuddled and loved on. She follows her foster mother wherever she goes and in just a few days has become quite velcro.  At night, she goes right into her crate and sleeps the night through with no issues - we think she would also sleep on your bed or by your side on a dog bed just fine too. During the day, she sleeps peacefully at her foster mum's feet as she works. 

She is housebroken, and likes to carry a ball or a bone around. She prefers to eat her food in her crate as it's likely what she was used to and she feels safe there, as long as you are by her - however, she is now learning to eat outside of the crate - practice will make perfect.  She is great on a leash, learning to walk with you and she really enjoys it. She is a little girl at 56 lbs and likely won't be much bigger, but her coat and feathers are growing in beautifully now she is getting good nutrition and is and well cared for.  

Autumn is a quiet girl; we haven't heard her bark yet. We think she could be an only dog, or live with a dog that is confident but won't bully her. A home that will walk her and let her cuddle on the couch would be best. She would also do well with a person who is active and will take her everywhere with them. She’d love to be your adventure buddy!
