This stunningly beautiful golden girl is Pixie, a 6 year old who came to us when her family was relocating and she wasn’t included in their moving plans. She has a typical golden personality that craves attention, love, and adventures. 

Pixie gets along with other dogs, but would do best as an only dog. She lived as an only dog prior to rescue and is used to being the princess of the house and having all the toys to herself. She is in foster care with 4 other dogs, and co-existing well with the others but there is not play or much interaction between the dogs. Pixie is more of a human-focused girl. 

Pixie enjoys her walks and is generally good on leash until a squirrel crosses her path and then she will pull. She is a moderate energy girl who is always up for an adventure, and also content to chew on a bone at home. Pixie loves toys of all kinds, so she’d love a big toy basket at her forever home. 

Pixie is a bit of an opportunist, and will find yummy things on the counter if they are within reach. If she has access to the yard, she will take herself outside to do her ‘business’. She may need a quick refresher at a new home, but she’s eager to please and learns fast.
