This incredibly sweet and loving pair is Dexter (blonde) and Frenchie (redhead), who have been together for most of their lives. Dexter (male) is 7 1/2 and Frenchie (female) is 5 1/2. This dynamic duo came into rescue when their former owners were downsizing and didn’t have room for them. It is clear they had been loved and treated well prior to rescue.

Dexter and Frenchie are truly amazing dogs. They love being together, love human affection, enjoy toys and playing fetch, and adore going out on adventures. They get excited for walk time, and do well on leash. They enjoy meeting new people and get along well with other dogs. They would be good with kids over 5 years old, only because they do get excited and put their paws up on people. They are food/treat motivated and eager to please. They have been wonderful houseguests at their foster home and have left the foster’s belongings intact. Neither has had any potty accidents, and they choose to sleep together. 

Dexter weighs 65 lbs and is a healthy weight. Frenchie weighs 60 lbs and could lose a couple lbs. With daily exercise and play, losing that extra weight won’t be difficult.

Dexter and Frenchie would do great with an adopter who treats them like cherished family members, and includes them in daily activities. They are happy, healthy dogs that will make any family very happy.
