Meet Garnet, the sweetest little girl you could ever imagine! ❤️

Little miss Garnet came to us from the Devore shelter where she came in as a stray with 3 other pups. The other 3 were gold color and the same age/size so we are assuming they were all related.

Don’t let her small size fool you—Garnet is a retriever through and through! She absolutely loves balls and has the most adorable natural retrieving instinct. Toss a ball and she’ll bring it right back to you and drop it very close to your feet. She’s still figuring out exactly what this whole game is about, but she clearly knows she loves it!

Garnet is a true Velcro girl. She loves being right beside her person, whether that means curling up next to you on the couch or snuggling beside you on the bed. She is still a little unsure of her surroundings and is learning that the world is a safe and wonderful place, so she will need someone who is patient and willing to let her confidence grow at her own pace.

She has very puppy-like tendencies and loves to run and play in the yard. She is currently working on her leash skills, but she is having fun learning. She also does wonderfully with other dogs and would love having a canine friend to play with.

Garnet is still putting on a little much-needed weight, and is scheduled to be spayed at the end of October. Once she is ready, she will be available for adoption. We have no doubt that this little girl is going to blossom into an incredible companion for the lucky person who gives her the time, patience, and love she deserves.
