Meet Arthur, a lovely 1 1/2 year old boy who is looking for his forever family. Arthur came into rescue when his owner was moving and couldn’t take him. We were told he is a labradoodle/chocolate lab mix and he does shed. He has a beautiful golden colored coat.

Arthur has so many wonderful traits. He is smart, loving, funny, playful, and most of all very sweet. He is very treat motivated and eager to please. He knows a number of commands such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘off’, and ‘wait’. Arthur gets along well with other dogs, and loves all people including kids. He is a moderate energy boy who enjoys his walks, and settles beautifully after exercise. One of Arthur’s favorite games is playing fetch, but he actually loves all toys.

Arthur loves to be with his people, and will happily cuddle on the couch with you. He enjoys car rides and going on adventures. He’s a pretty easy going boy but may bark a bit when he’s left alone and then settles down. He’s doing great with house training as long as you show him where to go. He is a people pleaser and learns quickly.

Note: Arthur is scheduled to be neutered on or before September 15 but can be adopted anytime. The rescue pays for the neuter with one of our veterinarians.
