Meet Chance a very handsome 1 year old boy who is finally getting the second chance he deserves!

Chance’s rescue story began when one of volunteers was driving home from work one day and she spotted Chance sitting on an abandoned couch. It seems his previous family threw him away along with their old furniture. He stayed close the couches clinging to what he knew as his home before…despite being thrown away like trash.

She stopped to leave him food and water, scanned him for a microchip (none), shared footage of him with our team and reached out to us for help that evening. We of course said YES! The very next day, she returned to pick him up and thankfully, Chance was finally safe.

Chance is 1 year old and we suspect he may be some type of doodle mix, although his exact breed is anyone’s guess! He does have a very beautiful and low-shedding coat.

Chance thrives with other dogs and would love having a canine companion to play with in his forever home. He is a friendly and social boy who enjoys the company of both people and pups. He is also great with children, making him a wonderful potential addition to a family looking for a sweet and loving companion.

Despite his past, Chance is an incredibly affectionate boy who absolutely loves attention and being around people. He has so much love to give and is more than ready to experience all the wonderful things that come with being part of a family.

Chance is currently intact and will be neutered the end of October. This sweet boy has already been through so much and now it’s time for him to experience the stability, comfort and unconditional love of a family that would never throw him away!

His name is Chance and that’s exactly what he deserves, a chance at a lifetime of love.
