Kebab is one lucky boy. He was wandering around a kebab restaurant (hence his name) in Turkey when he was spotted by one of our wonderful volunteers who was visiting. After meeting him and realizing how sweet and adorable he was, she couldn’t leave him behind. So, he went home with our Turkish rescuer and a few months later he arrived at LAX!
Kebab is a young (approximately 2-3 years old), petite 38 lb pup. He is a very loving and velcro boy who has adjusted to his foster home very quickly. He has a delightful personality and is quite puppy-like at times. He can be a bit cautious when meeting new people and dogs, but as long as he is allowed to go at his own pace he warms up very quickly.
Kebab loves going on long walks. He is good on leash, and is currently going on 2 walks a day. He’s also quite agile! His other favorite thing to do is play with his doggie foster sibling. They wrestle, chase, and share plush toys. We feel Kebab would do best with a balanced and confident doggie playmate at his forever home.
Kebab enjoys having a backyard to sunbathe and watch the squirrels. He hasn’t had any potty accidents at his foster home, and he enjoys having access to the yard to come and go as he pleases. He cuddles on the couch with his foster parents, and sleeps beautifully all night on his doggie bed.
