Meet Leo 🐾

Leo is a male, 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever who was found roaming the streets as a stray until a kind samaritan stepped in & reached out for help. From there, we came to his rescue and gave this sweet boy a safe place to land. Now Leo ready to find his forever family.

Leo has been settling into foster life beautifully. He’s had zero potty accidents in the house and gets along wonderfully with his doggie foster sisters and loves playing with them. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “paw” — such a smart boy!

It was clear that life indoors and leash walking were brand new to him, but he’s making amazing progress. He’s discovering just how cozy dog beds are, how much fun toys can be, and even how enjoyable car rides are. We’re continuing to work on his leash skills, but this is something his future forever family will have to keep building with him. Luckily, Leo is very treat and food motivated, which makes training so much easier!

He absolutely adores pets and cuddles. Despite his life prior to rescue, he has remained incredibly gentle and loving toward people. He may be a little timid at first, but he warms up quickly and his sweet personality shines through. Leo is both dog- and people-friendly and truly such a lovable boy. He would also do best in a home with a playful canine companion to help build his confidence and keep him company. This is non-negotiable.

Leo deserves a family who will love him unconditionally & show him what true love is. Leo would be an amazing addition to any family, he is the one you’ve been waiting for!

Leo is currently being fostered in Moreno Valley, CA but can be adopted anywhere in the US as long as his adopter will travel to SoCal and drive home.
