Meet our dynamic duo, Liberty and Freedom! These sweet boys were found in early July wandering the dirt roads of Phelan. Their coats were in pretty rough shape, so they must have been out for quite a while. Luckily they ended up at a Good Samaritan’s home who posted them everywhere and contacted our rescue for help. After doing the stray hold, they are ready for their forever home. Freedom and Liberty are a very sweet bonded pair. Our vet estimates they are approximately 2-3 years old.

Some of their favorite pastimes are….going on car rides, taking walks, and going on adventures. They have moderate energy. When given the chance they will also counter surf and destroy stuffed toys, so supervision and gentle guidance will be good. They also like chasing squirrels and cats. The boys decided after running free for some time that they are not a fan of crating. They get along with other dogs very well.

They do everything together from sharing food and water bowls, although we do recommend they are fed separately as Liberty will finish off Freedom’s food. Liberty is 80 lbs and Freedom is 65 lbs. The boys are devoted to each other and are looking for a family that will be devoted to them. They bond quickly with their people and love deeply.

They know sit and will come when called but would benefit from some more basic training with their forever family. They haven’t had any potty accidents at their foster home and are using a dog door. They do love being with their people, so someone home more often than not would be preferred. They would do well with kids aged 6 or older. They are gentle, very sweet and loving boys.
