This handsome boy is Marcus, a 3 year old golden who came to us when his former owner felt they couldn’t give him the life he deserves. We gladly took him into rescue and he is now ready to find his forever family.

Marcus is a very sweet boy who craves human attention.  He has higher energy and needs daily exercise and play. He is currently getting 2 walks a day totaling 5 miles, plus ball play in the yard. He loves chasing balls and playing with toys but sturdier toys are best as he will tear apart soft stuffed ones. Marcus is good with other dogs with a proper introduction and is currently living in foster care with 2 other dogs. 

Marcus is a really wonderful companion. He rides well in the car, loves going on adventures, hasn’t had any potty accidents at his foster home, and gets super excited to greet everyone when you come home. He knows basic commands, too. He is super food motivated and may try to counter surf, but is easily re-directed. He does get amped up at times, and is a big strong boy, but he is smart and eager to please.
