Meet Vita, a beautiful golden/setter mix who recently came to us from Turkey. Vita was found at a private shelter in Turkey with her 2 siblings. Our amazing rescuer took them all in, made sure they were healthy, and now all 3 have arrived in LA and are ready to find their forever homes. Vita is about 1 1/2 years old, 36 lbs and just about as sweet as they come. 

Vita is a complete and total love bug! She’s a big cuddler and craves human attention more than anything else. She wants to be on the couch in your lap and would love to sleep in bed with you as well. She will greet anyone who comes into the house with excitement and look up at you with the sweetest eyes. She has so much love to give! She does great with other dogs, and would thrive with a doggie playmate. If she’s placed as an only dog she would need an active adopter who is home more often than not, and will give her lots of social opportunities with other dogs. 

Vita is a young, energetic girl who needs daily exercise and play. She loves her walks and does really well on leash. Of course when squirrels cross her path she will get focused on them, but that’s understandable. Vita is eager to please and is treat motivated…and smart, so training is both enjoyable and fun. She has been known to counter surf a bit, but with gentle guidance she’s already learning not to do that. Vita hasn’t gone potty on leash since she has arrived, so we are looking for a home with a fenced yard and turf/grass to make life easier for everyone. 

At her core Vita is a very sweet soul who deserves all the love in the world. She will be the perfect addition to any family who welcomes her with open arms, lots of love, and gentle guidance.
